'Quilt of Holes' story - very 'soul warming'

Charley and Cyndie Wenz are the owners and purchased the shop in March of 2008. Cyndie has been involved in her quilting guild for years and her passion to learn more of the ins and outs of quilting and fabric drew her to help the previous owner and before she new it, she and Charley were quilt shop owners themselves. Since their acquisition, they have worked to breathe new life into the shop and it shows. The warm, cozy, inviting atmosphere makes your visit one to remember.

With over 2000 bolts of fabric, Wenz-daze is known for their Asian fabrics and great selection of flannels. Charley and Cyndie have recently added a New or On-the-Way baby area that includes a wonderful assortment of flannels and cottons, along with the Michael Miller's Fairy Frost fabric line.

The Wenz's favorite aspect of their shop is their customers. The sharing of ideas and the friendly conversations create the most enjoyable environment for these new owners. They've even thought of taking care of the spouses by offering a waiting area with comfy chairs, coffee and magazines (check out the pictures below!). With the friendly staff making customer service their #1 priority, it's a very customer-oriented experience when you stop in to pick up the latest in fabrics, books and other quilting needs.

At one time, Charley fit the category of quilting spouse, but no more - Charley, who is a transmission mechanic by trade, has caught the quilting bug and just recently finished his first king-size quilt and has two others in the works. Once you're hooked, it hard to stop!

Cyndie plans to add a quilting machine as their next project and offer instruction on the use of the new addition to the shop.
