Lee's Quilt Shed is located in Jolley, Iowa, about 50 miles northwest of Des Moines in western iowa.
Lee Cole-Williams opened her shop in July of 2010 after years of quilting. Years ago, she went to visit her sister-in-law in California and during her extended stay, her sister-in-law taught her to quilt and she's been hooked ever since. Today, Lee's love for quilting has grown into her new business and includes both making quilts and quilting them as well.
Lee enjoys hearing about her customer's projects and strives to help them find whatever they need, even if it requires sending them to a different quilt shop. "Helping those beginners who don't think they can quilt complete their first project proves that anyone can quilt and once you start, you're hooked too!" Show & Tell is one of Lee's favorite things and she loves seeing old antique quilts from the 1800's.
Lee plans to begin teaching classes and is in the process of putting the pieces together to begin that phase for her shop.
